T he nea rly hal f- mile o utdoor track was in prime con dition thanks to rai n a co up le of days earlier. The races fo r the day included a five -race series fo r tea ms, a J unior race and a Wom en 's race. Eac h team co nsisted of fou r riders who wou ld eac h co mplete two lap s, and at the end of the day the results from th e fi ve races would determine the event w inner. Th e only ruies for the bik es were that they had to be fou r-s tro kes und er 7 1CC. Th e riders' m eetin g was held at noon , and racin g starte d at 12:3 0 . At the de ed -eng ine. Le M an s-st yl e start, th e rid ers ran ap prox im atei y 20 feet to t he ir bikes . All th e tea ms except Screwed got off the lin e with a slnqlekick start . Go Nude took th e hol eshot , w ith the Green Team clos e be hi nd . T he Green T eam seeme d to have the pass made o n the seco nd la p when th ey too k the inside lin e in the righ tha nde r lead ing onto the fron t straig ht, but Go Nu de' s XR50 had the power to pull away.
