Wade Sch ultz was a triple -cla ss win ner. Donnie Rob- bins and Mark Goodman Jr. both doubled. and Goodman took the Fast Time award. "Wild Wade' Schultz from Lizt on, Iowa, got his first win in the 750cc class, on this day filled with only Yamaha twins. He took only o ne ride ; his first -round 4.47 6 -sec o nd ru n stood up for the win. Wade's brother Lane Sch ultz was hi s clo sest co m peti tio n, turning in a 4 .547 -se cond first -r ound run fo r sec o nd place. Wathena, Kan sas' Boo ts Web er too k th ird , followed by Tom Dani els and Robin Senn . Schultz rode his fast Harley to two class wins, th e Open and Op en Pushrod cl asses.
