Comments: Suzuki decided not to race the new 2000 GSX-R750 last season, deciding to develop the bike for the
2001 season. They stayed with the tried and true previous-generation bike and won the championship. They must
have known what they were doing. Next year the new-generation GSX-R750 will be unleashed, with a season of
quiet development behind it. It should be competitive out of the gate, with Yates and Mladin at the helm.
