e.ler The RM125 is designed around one simple fact: lighter and faster are better. That's why the all-new RM125 for 2001 is lighter, with more power - and more controllable power delivery - than ever. Just wait until you feel the RM125's increased top-end power. The engine Is modified so It sits more upright, which means the intake air passageways can be straighter. That change, along with new exhaust porting and a new exhaust pipe, gives the engine a kick in top-end power that lets you flat-out run away from the competition on straightaways. For better throttle response across the powerband, t he eng ine uses a new 38mm carburetor. The transmission is also completely refi ned. It has new first-and second-gear ratios that help you grab the hole shot. And with a lighter clutch push rod and refined components th roughout, it offers smoother shifting in every gear . In redesigning the RM125, we considered every detail. Its engine is new from the inside out to make it more compact and lightweight. It's also designed to concentrate its weight toward the center of the bike, which actually makes it feel even lighter than it is. Weight-saving plastic helped trim weight from the radiatol'. shroud, fuel tank, seat and fenders. For 2001, the RM125 also sports a new-generation yellow. And that's sure to get you noticed as you lap the field.
