While Ov erca sh too k the first 250cc A moto pretty smoothly, the seco nd moto was anything but smooth . Loca l rider Jas on Baldwin grabbed th e holeshot aboard his YZ4 26F. with Wag ner right on hi s he el s. Overcash wa s po ised to ju mp on the pai r as he rod e in third, but then he hit th e ground and seemed to be out of the hunt. Luckily for Ov erca sh, the battle between B ald w in and Wagner · i n whi ch th e riders bang ed ba rs for four laps - turn ed ugly, and the pa ir of Yama ha riders ended up taking each other out. Ove rcash waltzed righ t past the two falle n riders and past the checke red flag for his second- moto win and the ov erall . Baldwin got up and goi ng before Wagner, so he netted the runner-u p spot. Wagn er recov ered for third . David Dunbar put another fo ur· banger in the top five, landing his YZ426F in fourth, ahead of Answer/White Brothers/Andrew s Mot orsports' Scottie Shipl ey . Riding a pair of Yam ahas out of the family shop, Yamaha of Lumberton 's Ja son Bryant pu lled off a dou ble sweep in the 125cc Band 250cc B classes.
