Par. Cllpa. ng 8.zulll Dealer The RM125 is designed around one simple fact: lighter and faster are better. That's why the all-new RM125 for 2001 is lighter, with more power - and more controllable power delivery - than ever. Just wait until you feel the RM125's increased top-end power. The engine is modified so it sits more upright, which means the int ake air passageways can be straighter. That change, along w ith new exhaust porting and a new exhaust pipe, gives the eng ine a kick in top-end power that lets you flat-out run away from the competit ion on straightaways. For better throttle response across the powerband, the eng ine uses a new 38mm carburetor. The transmission is also completely refi ned. It has new f irst-and second-gear rat ios that he lp you grab the hole shot. And with a lighter clutch push rod and ref ined components throughout, it offers smoother sh ifting in every gear. In redesigning the RM125, we considered every detail. Its eng ine is new from the insi de out to make it more compact and lightweight . It's also designed to concentrate its weight toward the center of the bike, which actually makes it feel even lighter than it is. Weight-saving plastic helped trim we ight from the radiator shroud, fuel tank, seat and fenders. For 2001, the RM125 also sports a new-generat ion yel low. And t hat's su re to get you not iced as yo u lap t he f ield.
