Carmichael cleared $ 1000. but Carsten's first-lap lead in the first 125cc moto , as well as his eighth-place finish in the firs t 250cc mot o (earni ng him an additional $8OJ. put him at a grand total of $1180. making Carsten the top cash-winning rider of the day . Ml. Holly Kawasaki-Suzuki and Raceway Park put up a total of $2000 that went to the top two privateers in each class. as well as the first-lap money. Team Green's Stefi B au qualified for the 125cc Pro class. In the 40-rider field. Sau finished 24th in the first mota. then got tripped up halfway up a steep uphill section in the second mota.
