In the second rnoto, Sterling agai n too k the early lead . but th is time Herr era was not giving up . Fortner al so upped his tot al to five. however, wh en he took the outsta nd ing Fast Tim e trophy and th e $ 100 that went with it . Northrup was second fastes t on the day and cl aimed two seco nds and a third to go with his two win s. Fortner's sec ond win came in Exhibit io n · class action , wh ere he and Northru p d ueled again, and Fortn er again came out on top . Fort · ner crested the hill in a fine 4.49 J seconds on his stock- leng th CR2 50 to ta ke the win , with North rup runn ing second on his broth er's YZ250 in 4.5 37 second s. Nick Mayo.
