La c e y h el d a large adva ntage by the early stages; Leach bega n to na rrow the gap but quick ly e nco un te re d mech anical pro b lems and dropped ba c k. This allowed S ullivan and Metzl e r to move up on Lacey, but Lacey then s ped away, putting a 12 -se co nd cushion between him s e lf and th e squabbl e fo r sec ond, wh ich went in Metzler's favor at the finish. Currie r 's best perfor mances came in his I -I decimatio n of the Pee Wee ranks , in wh ich he led Thomas Nichols and Nick Gu bser to the finish for the BOcc (7 -9) win. In the BOcc (0-6) class, Bra d Fr ac e no t ched a v ictory a h ea d o f T a y lor Peller a nd Co lin Baker. Trevor B rooks won the '1 25c c Junior-class ove ra ll without scoring a m oto victory.
