While the Suzuk i p ilots vie d for th e lead, Shimp and Willoh were c utti ng thr ough the field on their wa y to third and fourth - positions that improved a not ch with Th ompson 's departure . When th e gate fe ll fo r the final ra ce o f the we ek end , th e 250 ma in event, Ho lla nd a nd Willoh shot into th e first corne r s houlde r t o sh oulder , with Willoh cutting Holla nd 's dr ive toward th e firs t triple a n d t a k in g c o n t rol.
