Schnabel , who had run seco n d in the first tw o lap s and then thrown h is ha nd up to s ign a l that he was having pr oblems , got a bit of a repr ie ve , alth ou gh it meant that under th e Formu la USA rules he wo uld h a ve to re sta rt at the ba c k of th e pa c k after wren ch in g o n h is mach ine . Carr o nce agai n took con trol o n t he re s t art , b ut t hen h is bo rrowed motorcycle s p uttered to a h a lt two la ps later, and he was out for good . "My guess is tha t the re was a e lectr ical gre mli n wit h t h a t b ike," Carr said. "I don 't know for sure what it wa s , bu t after the red flag we went to sta rt the b ike , a nd it wou ldn't sta rt. I ripped the kill button completely off, think in g th at th er e m ight be a s ho rt th er e .
