Metcalf won the cla ss and LaReservee was runner-up, In DyerSburg, Tennessee. Mountain crossed the line in second place. a safe distance ahead of Kenn eth Ham m on tr ee and Br ennan McGinn is. Rou nd t wo was more of the same, w ith Parks nai ling the holeshot aboard his Nationwide Cycle /One Eye Ra cing /HRP -backed Yamaha and pulling away to win by an even gr eater margin a fter six laps on the J.B . Parks was around John Law son for the lead. wh ich he maintained to th e finish . Law son wa s run ner -up, followed by Jimmy Gonzalez . who put in a grea t rid e to climb fr o m his 10t h-p lace start to eam thi rd, ove r Zachary Saath off and Ty ler Mcintosh. Wh en the gate dropp ed in ro u n d tw o , Parks got a m uch better start and led th e fie ld by the co m pletion of lap one , Parks led every lap fo r his fo urth moto win on the night. with Mcintosh keeping him honest toward the end of the race . Gonzal ez aga in made his way up t hrough tra ffic and used co nsistent 3-3 rides to edge out Mcintosh for second overall. St ev e Colson wa s an other dou bl e -cla ss winner on the night. Colson won both Supermini races by a huge m argin o n his Yamaha of Goleta /O' Neall Tw isted/ Pro Circuit/Motul-sponsored Yamaha. McGinnis got around Kevin Be y ea rly in the second mota to go 3 -2 for second overall. Rich ie Casiano held off Colson for the fir st 80cc ( 14 .16) m o t o win. Missouri 's Ronnie Ford . and Tennessee's Jamaal Bond. In the 125c c A hea t race. St. Loui s Power Sports' Metcalf ca me fro m the middle of the pack and c h a rge d to an early lead. Right beh ind him was LaReservee. A couple of seconds beh ind the leaders was Fo rd . Bond was spewing rooste r tails in th e banked corner s while holding off Dagner , For eigh t laps. LaReservee did all he could to d isru pt Me tcalfs flow . bu t no thing cou ld derail the leader's drive and determ inati on. LaReserv ee and Ford wer e giving it all they had to make up th e time th ey 'd lost. but the heat finished with Dagner, Guiden and Bond taking the to p pos ttions. Metcalf managed to claw his way back up to sixth. LaReservee finished eig hth. Ford . afterfalling aga in. limped in l l th. In th e 125c c A main. M etcalf let it b e known early on that he wasn't in any mood to pla y dogpile again. He took the hol eshot and settled into a sm ooth line and rhy th m . Run ning thi rd , Dagn er dogged th e sec ond -spot man. LaReservee. just like LaReservee had dogged Metcalf in the heat. And. like Metcalf. LaReservee did n't give an inch to Dagner nor fal ter in his race plan , and he held on to second for the entire 15 · lap main. They finis hed wi th Metcalf o n top, La Reservee de serving second , Dagner de manding th ird , and Ford fi nd ing his pace in fourth . In the 250cc A m ain , Dagner, wi th grit and a lot o f sta mina, kicked h is YZ into a warp speed and too k the m ain in a blue blur. Th en " F as t Andy ' Fortner blitzed the hill in 3 .31 3 seconds . and then Er ic Wheelwright carded a sizzli ng 3 .2 70- second run in the 600cc cl ass. But the supe rfast rid es in the 600cc class weren 't over yet; Paul Hackb arth shot up the hill and topped out with a blazing 3.246 -second run for th e cla ss win and a new fast time. All three of the top riders were on Honda CRSOOs.
