" I' m havin g a good time so far, " said Roeder, w ho co uldn 't quite hold off Brett Landes, and finished second in the fifth scratch heal. " I'm just go ing to take it easy out he re to day . I pushed it a little hard in the scra tc h heat and the bike got a littl e loo se , but it's working real good , and that make s it eas ier. 1like it here, but I'd like it even more if th ere was n't a ju mp in the middle of the bac k straightaway."
