Comments: Hamill - "I like a motor with plenty of torque to provide a lot of grunt off the corners . Top end is I im p or t a nt, but you have to have that torque when the motor gets under a load in the corners - you can't have a hole there. Chassis-wise, I'll adjust my wheelbase depending upon how my starts are. I like it to lift about six in c h es coming out of the gate. If it doesn 't, that means I'm spinning and I'm losing ground. If it lifts so that I have ! t o man up on it and ride the clutch, then I know I'm getting maximum drive and no one can beat me. " , ! I I I I __eN! 22 AUGUST 16. 2000 ' cue I e n eVIls
