Yamah a is set to release its 200 1 model of the pro duct io n road racer, the Yamaha TZ250, which has been redeveloped with stateof- the-art technology culled from the YZR250 factory machine that has been competi ng in the World 250cc Grands Prix. Featuring num erous detail improvements to further extend the evoluti onary development path of the bike, the 200 1 model incorporates the new-design engin e that appeare d in th e 2000 model, retaining many characteristics of the 2000 . But it has received an infusion of techn ological advances that are designed to improve acceleration perform ance and ove r- revving characteri stics and achieve an even higher level of competitiveness ' We're really committed 250cc Grand Prix class," a Yamaha official said. "There is a lot of exciting racing going on in the class, and it' s another way for future champions to hone their skills. What better way to do it than aboard a razor sharp-handling TZ250?" The 200 1 TZ250 will be released on November 10, 2000.
