"I felt solid , I felt like I rode pretty goo d ," La Rocco sa id . "I guess I' m s e rni -h appy wit h t hat. "I put a few p a s s e s o n him th a t were a lit t le b it aggress ive, " Ferry said . "But I was d espe rate : I wanted to get by him ." Fer ry tr ied to s tay with Torte lli but had spent too mu ch e nergy ma king th os e two passes to keep up , a nd he would instead lose a position to Rey na rd befo re all was said and done. "I had bee n cha rging a s hard as I c ould th e first ha lf of th e m oto ," Ferry s a id . "I just kind of wor e m ys e lf out. Reynard ended up getting me ."
