The Suzuki star finished sec o n d overall with a 6 -2. BRIEFLY. •• This year' s Red Bud track had a new look and feel. A lthough the layout w as the same . the dirt w as much loamier than usual. Track owner Gene Richie hauled in 800 t ruckloads of sand that was spread out ov er the entire track. A s a res ult, the so il held mo istu re much better and held up quit e well throughout the day . Most of the riders agr eed it w as a good move . " I th ink it was a pretty good improvement ." laRocco said. " It's nice to see peo ple trying stuff. The th ird rider has reportedly not yet bee n decided . Team Honda' s Ezra Lusk was a no -show at Red Bud. Lusk is still ex periencing pain in the wrist that he injured a few w eek s ago.
