Co stello also won Mon da y' s Intermed iate race with 2-1 scores. over Ch ad Coo k (1-3) . . The 125 cc Novice class had a good turn out, with 20 riders at the gate. Th is class is always hotl y contested . and this day was no exceptio n. Class poi nts leader Joe Simec ka was out after sustaining an inj ury du ring pract ice. In both m ot os, a tig ht pa ck of fiv e riders shot out in fro nt and swapped po sitions th rough ou t the race .
