Smith was third ma n o n the podium with a st rong pa ir of third-plac e ride s . Sta n cil and Dunba r both hovered in the top s ix in both motos a nd eve ntua lly sett le d in fourth and fifth, res pe ct ive ly, while Overcash failed to follow up on his se cond-p laced first -moto ride . Overcash found himself down in ninth in moto two, just mi s s ing o ut o n a top-five ove ra ll finish . However, Overcash mad e up for his one bad moto ride when he ca me out swinging in the 125cc B co ntest, tak ing the opening- moto win - the only moto Summ e y d id n o t c o nt ro l. S um m e y knew what he had to do if he wa nte d a nother overall on the day, a nd he did it with th e second 125 c c B m oto win, just edging out Overca sh for the class win.
