Rhode s was cha llenged by KTM -m ounted Marcus Upton fo r the ho leshot. Upto n ran clo se for two laps until mechanical problem s put him on the sidelines. Rhod es has all but ensured him self first place in the $7000 Pope County mini series . The rea l race in the Pro class was between Chris A ndrews. Drew Chandler. Upton . Rhodes struggled a little at first befo re settl ing into h is usual fas t , smooth pace . but on ce Rhod es hit his rhyth m , he was nev er seriously cha llenged. Th ey both went down . and th e little KTMs went into the rubbe r fence in the tum. Two minutes late r, they were at it again. There were no lose rs, but on this day Ingram go t first pla ce.
