Hopk ins s a id, "Fro m that m omen t [whe n Lop e z crashed] I kn ew it was jus t g o ing to be a ru n betwe e n m e a nd Damon [Buckmaster] and [Mike l Ciccotto , so from there on I tr ied to c onse rve tires because th e tra c k te m perature was rea lly ho t.
