MAY 7 D aniel Sani perched h imself high above the competition after sailing to double clas s wins at rou nd three of the AMP /GFI Spring Series. sponsored by Axo and Yamaha of Modesto. A mong the more than 270 rider s. the FM F Ho nd a r ider t opped th e 80 c c Expert and Supermini classes in co nvinci ng fashion at the p ic turesque Hollister Hills GP track. The sun never made an appearance. and by the end of the day the track was Ji te red with tear-offs du e t to th e steady spr inkle that fell all day. whi ch made for ideal, dust-free track co nditions. Fifteen Sup ermin i pilots lined up on the gale. but Sani wa s sim ply untou chabl e in both rnotos as he traversed the elevation-c hang ing tra ck flawlessly . lap after la p.
