The 50cc Open class started off with Ryan Martin putting his Kawasaki out front early on, loo king fast as Enos, Krame r Patt erson , Tyl er freeman and Cody J ackson ga ve chase. Enos mad e his way by Martin halfw ay through the first lap and never looked back as he continua lly clic ked off flawl ess laps, Martin ran into trou ble on a tricky downhill right-hander whil e bat tling with Patters on and went down . Patterson seized the o ppo rtunity and, alo ng with Freeman, scooted by to give chase to Enos. Howev er, Enos had already checke d out, and he took the win. with Patterson barely holdin g off Freem an for runner-up . Martin rebo unded for fourth , and Jackson rounded out the top five, In m ot o two , Enos grabbed the ho leshot and opened a g ap ov er the fie ld. How ever, Freeman , aboard a Modes to Kawasaki-ba cked KTM , qu i ck ly c lose d i n o n Eno s. Th e t w o che cked ou t , an d whil e Fr eeman k ept th e pressur e on , he never got close enough to make a chall enge for the lead . Patterson held do wn third o ver Martin. and everyone sta y ed up on tw o wh eel s th e enti re m oto, h old in g th eir p ositi on , wi th Enos ta king th e eventu al win. Freema n ke pt him honest by posting a well-eamed 2-2 score, good eno ugh fo r seco nd ove rall o n the d ay , while Patterson rebounded from a hard get-off in the second m oto to finish th ird o vera ll. In the 60 cc Nov ice cl ass, Jac k so n too k wi re -to-wire victories in b o t h motos. The K awasak i jockey rode two strong motos and set a pace that th e o thers just co uldn't m atc h. KTM·mounted Eric Poth had an up- and -down day. After p osting a seco nd in m ot o one , he cr ashed early in the second rnoto and had to ca ll it a day. With Poth out, Ruben Hernandez held off Richard Rina uro to p ost a 3 -2 score for second overall o n the day , while Rin auro m uste red up a 4 -3 sco re fo r th ird. In the 60cc Beginner class, T .J . Lorenz tal lied e t - t sco re for the overall hon ors ove r local rider J osh Greco. While Greco posted a solid 22 score, Keith Knight and Jes se Holt swapped scores, with Knight getting th e nod with a 4 -3 tall y, whic h was good enough fo r third .
