Len tnovich dro pped his Yama ha just befo re the fin ish line. giv ing A lba ch the win. In the following m ot o , a m ore serio us La ninovich abscond ed with th e holeshot and qui ckly put some distan ce between hims elf and run ner-up Al bach . Th e 125cc Nov ice battl e co ntinues between Josh Navarro and Dav id Meyers. Navarro held off Meyers in the first mota but then had to make an extra effo rt in the following m oto , whi ch sta rte d o ut with Me yer s out fro nt and Nava rro i n second. N avarro made se vera l attempts througho ut the first two laps but had no posi tiv e results. On lap th ree. Meye rs suc cum bed to the pressure and allowed Navarr o to ta ke over. Meyers was abl e to sta y in the battle but could not ma tch Navarro's pace. Th e 80ce divisions wer e inva ded by Ea sterners Millsap s and J ohnson . The two proved to be too fa st for m o st o f t he local rid ers. exce pt Cas Swift and Zac Wr ay . Johnson rode his Factory Suzuki /R enth al/ Ax o Suzuki to the overa ll in t he 8 0 c e E x p ert class. J o hn so n bested the effo rts of Wray and Swift in a no seto-ta il batt le to the finis h line in the first m oto . M illsaps put t hing s t o geth er in t he second moto , wi th Johnson trai l ing and Swi ft pressuring J o hn so n t hro ughout the eight- la p race . Austin Ballard lost the first m ota to Christopher Lounsbury but came back stro ng in the second moto .
