Local California hotshoe Dave Aldana
(BSA) was pictured on
the cover of Issue it 16
for winning the 50-lap
TT main event in
Sacramento, California.
The picture was actually snapped at Ascot
Park three days before
the event in Sacramento. Aldana cruised to
victory over Mert La_it (H-D) and Dave
Hansen (Tri} ... The Simi Valley MC held a
Hare and Hound in Cornel Comers, California, and they had quite a successful event.
Rich Thorwaldson (Ric) won the overall
ahead of Steve Kirk (Mon) and MIke
Patrick (Yam} ... The brand-new Yamaha
flat tracker was christened at Ascot Park. It
was a 650cc twin with the shifter on the
