Except for one brief moment, Vuillemin, on the factory-backed Yamaha, led every lap, never letting the intense pressure by the six-time Supercross Champion crack him. When the very memorable battle was over, Vuillemin emerged victorious for the fourth time this year. And it was without a doubt a well-thought-out and hard-earned win of which he could be proud.
