Scott Sheak, riding for Suzuki, came home a disappointing 24th. Parker was now thinking victory, as he headed back to the pits for a rest. "TM has given me a new motor," Parker said. "It's much better than what we had in Spain; had I had it there I think I could've won. Those young guys are good, still I think I have something to offer in the next moto." The second moto was very much like the first; Nunn, Langston and Dobb were among the lead riders. This time, though, Alex Puzar, riding for Yamaha Italy, was in the thick of things. Chasing down the talented Langston and finally passing for second place, Puzar was still miles behind a victorious Nunn. Third place was Langston, followed by Dobb and Brown, in fifth place. Further back came Parker in seventh place and Sheak in 17th place. vent Weekends Come and see llintage moIon:ycIes and racing at the AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days west Apri128-30 see the country's top racers in the Progressive Motorcycle Insurance Grant Langston and friends celebrate on the French rostrum. Langston now leads the point's race. Parker is now looking towards Brazil, a track he has ridden before. "As far as I am concerned," Parker said, "the championship starts in Brazil. If I can be around 15 points from the front guys, I have a chance. I'm really confident about the next few races. This championship will come down to the guys who want to race for 16 rounds . I'm one of those guys." eN Supet1Jike Challenge May 5-7 =CRmSE~ ....MlElUCA~ n IIII'I'lIL • IlLES Sonomafest includes: Demo Rides • Dirt Track Racing • Vintage Trials • Vintage Swap Meet • Vendor Atea seminars • VIntage Motocross • CLASS Motorcycle SChool • Mototeycle Drag Racing • Wme Country Rides .., Circuit 1I Comtesse Plomion, France Results: April Z, ZOOO [Round Z of 161 MOTO 1: I.
