Vet racers Greg Lewis and Earl May both claimed double wins. Texan Lewis took charge in the Over-25 and Over-30 Intermediate events while Florida's May won both the Over-30 Money and Over-35 divisions. BRIEFLY••• The fourth annual three-day event hosted 1.174 entered racers that survived two separate Texas thunderstorms. Neither downpour affected the start of Thursday practice or Sunday's race day, thanks to the expertise of track commander Blake Hamilton.
