hounded by Lamick, who was not content with third. At the checkers, Turner edged out O'Hara and Lamkk to teke the moto·one win. Moto two was almost tJ repeat of moto one, as the same four riders bett1ed it out for the overall honors. When the gate dropped, Turner and his YZ400 were gone. Giving chase were Kamaska, Lamick and O'Hara. Turner put the hammer down and established a comfortable cushion. Behind Turner, an all-ornothing battle erupted for second place between Karnaska, Larnick and O'Hara. Around midmolo, O'Hara picked up the pace and passed both Lamick and Kamaska to take over second place. On the final lap, Turner was out in front with a 10-bike-length lead, followed by O'Hara, Lamick and Kamaska, all running wheel to wheel. At the checkers, Turner took the victory, and Kamaska passed both Lamick and O'Hara to claim second. 'One guy threw it away, and the other guy's hand came off the bars and he went wide in a tum," explained a happy Kamaska. '1 was just in the right place. That was a lot of fun!" Karnaska's 5-2 tally was good for fourth overall. Larnick took third, which was good enough for second overall, O'Hara's last-lap mistake cost him 8 position, as he finished third overall . ....ults BEG A; 1. Steve Jl'wIgIone; 2. Sle~ ""denI; 3. Former GP rider Mike Guerra, the Cannondale product-development representative, was the special guest, and he informed those present that Cannondale is slated to release their new bike in early spring, The big winner of the night was former National number 28, Kurt McMillen, from Beacon, New York. McMillen won the hotly contested 250cc A class, as well as the Over 25 A and Over 30 A classes. Only Carlo Caen of the Carlo Caen Motocross Schools was able to snatch a title away from the blazing McMillen; Coen, himself a multi-time National number holder, won the 125cc A title. Thirteen-year-old Ryan Mills of Clintondale, New York, is blazing fast and, barring injury, he will be a National champion in the future. He regularly kept up with and beat the seasoned Pros throughout the 1999 season; his relative inexperience is his only limitation, and he is a fast learner. Ryan was offered a Suzuki test ride for a shot at the factory team, but in the end he declined and stayed with his familiar Honda mount and the sponsors that have gotten him to where he is. Ryan was second 125cc A rider and fourth Schoolboy rider, Longtime D34 racer Joe Fritz realized his dream of winning a title by conquering the ever-competitive Over 40 A class. Tom Hall and Tom Stinson finished second and third. respectively. "Rocking" Ron Venza won both the Over 30 B and Over 40 B classes and will now have his hands full in the A classes. Darren Sedgewick won the Over 25 B class, over Mike Leonard and Tom Hamilton. Relative newcomer James McNeil won both the Schoolboy and 125cc B classes, ahead of Pat Mahan and Guilherme Semanech. Mike Leavitt and Cam Eccles rounded the top five. In the 250cc B class, Jacob Radulewicz,
