"bad boys" of BooKoo going head-to-head for the championship. The 16th governor of Utah rode onto the track to welcome the crowd in his custom-designed red-white-and-blue Troy Lee Designs gear that matches his Honda CRF450. The competition was tight as Woods, leading by one point after Friday night's domination on the track, sought to add to his lead over Demuth. Both racers were on their game as they went 1-2 in the 250 and 450cc main, respectively, with Hofmaster and Lacey repeating their third-place finishes in the 250 and 450cc classes from Friday night. With the superior performance by Bess, mechanic Rob Burkhart was presented with the Motorcycle Mechanics Institute Top Tech Award for helping propel Bess to his first victory on Friday night, which was also Burkhart's first-ever victory in Arenacross. Lacey probably had the most successful weekend without anybody knowing about it. He had two third-place finishes, both 450 mains, on the weekend, and captured the Dash For Cash on both nights. Lacey's sweep on the weekend gives him a commanding lead over Demuth for the 2006 Dash For Cash Championship points. eN THE E·CENTER WEST VALLEY CITY, UTAH RESULTS: DECEMBER 2·4, (ROUND 4 OF 12) 2005 Friday 250 MAIN: I.
