as he stretched his lead to three seconds
over Stokes and Caylor. who were battling for second. Thompson fell back to
fourth. ahead of a tight battle for fifth
between Carpenter and Frankenfield.
A red flag came out during the eighth
lap; Thompson was disqualified. Stokes
was dropped back to fifth. and Lynn
became the big winner with his Pirelli
tires on the Embry Suzuki.
"I just watched my pit crew. and they

increased. and I just focused on what I was
doing and brought it home. The Pirelli tires
