IIIMY OWN RACE:
1 CAMERON BEAUBIER
1-1 SUPERBIKE
"It was really good to be able to get
nine wins in a season and be able to
pass my record that was a few years
ago," Cameron Beaubier said. "That
just feels really good for me. Every-
thing's going so good right now. Like I
said yesterday, some mes I feel like I
need to get pinched. But at the same
me, it's weird to say, but right now
that I have the most experience in the
Superbike class other than maybe Toni
[Elias] or something like that. I'm just
dialed in on my R1."

THE RIDGE MOTORSPORTS PARK / SHELTON, WASHINGTON

40 SEAN DYLAN KELLY
2-1 SUPERSPORT
"Definitely a crazy race," Sean Dylan
Kelly said a er race two. "I'm glad I
was first into the first corner to avoid
everything that happened behind
me. I honestly had no idea what was
going on. I did hear something in
the first corner. It didn't sound too
good, but of course at the end of the
day we all hear things while we're
riding. So, I wasn't too sure what was
going on. Today, I really focused on
myself. I feel like yesterday I was a
bit too worried about the fight with
everyone, and it obviously didn't
go my way. I mean, okay, P2. Good
yesterday, but we're here to win.
Today I just went out with a different
mentality and went out there to win,
and it showed in the lap mes."
(Above) Jake Gagne took the first
pole of his Superbike career as the
SoCal rider continues to improve,
race by race. Gagne took 2-3 results
for the round, helping cement his
second place in the championship.
The Supersport encounters were
rather more enthralling, especially
race one between Richie Escalante
(Honos Kawasaki), Sean Dylan
Kelly (M4 Ecstar Suzuki) and Celtic
HSBK Racing Yamaha rider, Bran-
don Paasch. For three quarters of
race one, the three raced within
inches of each other in a dramatic
display of daring and skill, with
Escalante coming out on top from
Kelly and Paasch.
It all went topsy-turvy in race two,
however, as Escalante was punted
out of the race in turn one by Su-
zuki's Jaret Nassaney. Paasch gave
chase to Kelly but also toppled off
at turn one later in the race, handing
