F.C.C. TSR Honda France win 2020
Le Mans 24 Hour

he F.C.C. TSR Honda France
team of Josh Hook, Mike Di
Meglio and Freddy Foray has
taken victory for the second time
in the Le Mans 24 Hour.
The factory Honda-backed
squad headed home the Webike
SRC Kawasaki France Trickstar
team of Jeremy Guarnoni, Erwan
Nigon and David Checa, and third
placed Suzuki Endurance Racing
Team (SERT—Etienne Masson,
Gregg Black and Xavier Simeon).
Following a crash early in the
race, YART Yamaha pushed
hard to get back into the leading
pack with riders Karel Hanika,
Marvin Fritz and Niccolo Canepa,
ultimately taking fourth, five laps
behind the winners.
BMW Motorrad World Endur-
ance Team, while running solidly
in fifth, lost their position after
Ilya Mykhalchyk crashed at the
tail end of the race. The factory
BMW team were thus unable
to cross the finish line and not
classified. The late-stage drama
enabled F.C.C. TSR Honda
France to shoot up to second
place in the provisional champi-
onship standings behind SERT,
127 to 87. CN
