A 14-rider-strong 50cc Shaft class took to the gate. Bradley Harper swept the top spot with two perfect motos, followed by Brandon Neal, who swept second. justin Huffman. Karson Hilton and Marc Foster had their own race going on behind the two leaders. Hilton was battling to hold the third spot in the first moto but fell back to fifth, letting Huffman and Foster by. When the gate dropped for the second mota, Hilton would not make the same mistake again, riding smart and holding the third spot in the second moto; however, he had to settle for fourth overall. Foster fell in right behind Huffman but could not get around. This let Huffman hold on to fourth in the second moto and take third overall. More racing in the back of the pack saw Kegan Armstrong move through several riders. Armstrong fell back in the first moto, letting Addison Mast and Kyler Tse by. The checkered nag came out before he could make the pass back. but in the second moto he made the pass and ran a strong race to score 10th place and II th overall. Mast stayed right behind Armstrong to take I Ith in the second moto, which gave him 10th overall. In Senior Mini action. jordan Daniels took the holes hot and swept both motos to take the overall top position. Colt Feimster, who swept second, stayed behind Daniels through the holeshot corner and through the first few turns, but then Daniels poured it on to put a big gap between them. Third was swept by Dalton johnson, who stayed behind Feimster, but behind him the battle raged for fourth and fifth, as Jacob Kinder and Kyle Pierce battled at each corner. In the first moto. I(jnder rode right behind Pierce, looking for a chance to get by. As they came through the two-way section, Pierce took the inside line while Kinder took the outside and ended up losing time and spending the rest of the lap getting right behind Pierce. In the second mota, Pierce got in front of Kinder at the start, but Kinder fell in behind Pierce as they entered the two-way section. This set Kinder up to be able to make the pass two corners later, and he never looked back. Kinder took the fourth spot and fourth overall. Round three of the Fall/Winter Series will be held October 29. For more information, go to www.danielsridgemx.com RESULTS SO SHAFT: I. Bradley Harper; 2. Brandon Neal; 3. Justin Huffman; 1.
