A Cop You Can't Outrun
MotoGP star Valentino Rossi traded his racing leathers and crash helmet for a
motorcycle cop outfit as he went on patrol in Roma, Italy, for the shooting of
an ad for Italian company TIM.
The Yamaha rider teamed up with Italian actor Christian de Sica for a 50second spot that has been broadcast on Italian channels since the beginning of
the month.
In the ad, Rossi plays the role of "Corrado," a goofy motorcycle cop, hinting at one of the seven-time World Champion's historic feuds. The ad is based
on an idea of the Mortaroli & Friends studio, which wrote several acclaimed
ads for the Italian telecommunications company.
