Factory Effex/Moto Works-backed Chris Yeager put his Yamaha in the lead at the start of the Over 36 Intermediate class. Yeager got the jump, followed by Moto X Works/Weapon MXjHurricane rider Owen Fitzsimmon and Patrick Verach. As Yeager maintained a good lead. Eric Hameister was charging up from a fifth-place start. On the third lap, he passed Verach for third and then chased after Fitzsimmons. By the end of the fourth lap, Hameister was putting strong pressure on Fitzsimmon, and he finally took second. At the checkers, Yeager took the moto win, with Hameister in second, followed by Fitzsimmon. Moto two saw Yeager get a second-place start, but he had moved into the lead by the second lap. and he once again cruised to the moto win. Fitzsimmon and Verach again battled for the second and third spots. Verach had another come-frombehind challenge, this time from seventh place, but he was able to move up to challenge Fitzsimmon for second again. By the fourth lap, he had that spot, and he held it until the end. The overall came easily for Yeager, with the runner-up slot going to Verach and FilZSimmon taking third. eN RESULTS MINI BEG: 1.
