dirt early in the race, and everyone moved one spot forward. Repeating his SM2 performance, Hensley led Deveau across the finish line to take his second win of the day. The race for third was between Dick and Brian Pecore. Dick took the final podium spot. Justin Ross made good use of the track time he got running midpack in Saturday's Red Bull Supermoto A-Go-Go. The local motocross racer took hold of the SM I class during timed qualifying and only let go to raise the NASMOTO trophy at the end of the day. Ross led every lap of his heat race and the main. Travis Ellis finished a close second to Ross in the heat race and tucked in behind him early in the main. While these two were racing for the lead, Vincent Guisande, Danny Casey and Andrew Dickson spent the first laps of the race fighting for third. After Casey passed Guisande and took the third position, the front four quickly built a cushion on the rest of the field. Dickson finished the race in fifth, working to hold off a pack of three riders that were bearing down on him. Even though Ross took the win, Ellis had already gotten the girl - specifically, Umbrella Girl USA model Amber. The two were married on Saturday, the night before the race. Local riders won both the Mini and Sport classes, but Joe Pascarella's win in the Mini final was not what he had expected. "Cameron was on my butt at the start and then crashed," Pascarella said. "My plan was to try and get away, but that is what happened, and I came home with the win." Requiring 21- inch front wheels, the Sport class tends to attract motocross riders such as Steve Marty, who won the class main event. "It is my first Supermoto ever," Marty said. "liVing in Reno for five years, I could never have imagined I could race through these streets. It was phenomenal!" eN (Above) Chad freeman (122) was the man in the Amateur class, takinll the main-event win after checking out on the field.
