he YZ250F has been the class benchmark ever since its arrival
five years ago. In the years since then, the yz has changed very
little, relying on the same basic design with which it began terrorizing the I25cc class in 2000. For '06, however, the YZ250F gets
its first major makeover, and it could not have come at a better
time, now that the other manufacturers have caught up to and, to some
extent, surpassed the Yamaha in the ultracompetitive 250F - or should we say,
the soon-to-be Lites - class.
