Portland International Raceway Holt Holds It Onl By JUSTIN WHARTON PORTLAND, OR, SEPT. 1 any riders can show up and shine for a short period of time, but it takes a true die-hard to stick it out for many years. For a rider to make it to 30 and even 40 years old and still be as competitive as ever is truly amazing. One racer who continues to amaze is Honda rider Ted Holt. Despite being over 40, Holt can still run a Pro pace, and he proved it with another one of his patented Over The Hill Intermediate-class victories. In the first mota, it was Mike Hamness fending off Tim Holas for the win, with Holt following behind in third. In the second mota, Hamness suffered a DNS. and Holt took the win, M NAME _ Mail to: Circulation Dept.
