G When the 450cc Modified main left the line, it was Scott Baker in the lead, with Mueller and Chris Williams in hot pursuit. Mueller and Williams kept the pressure on all the way, but Scott was riding well and took the win. "Young Gun" Williams shot into the lead of the Open Amateur main, with Scott Baker draw even with him on the second lap. The finish was almost too close to call, as Beach complete restart was called for, and this time it was Matt Schweitzer leading the way. with Williams second and Mueller third, Williams passed Schweitzer going into turn three to take the lead. All of a sudden, Mueller caught fire: He passed Schweitzer and then ran down Williams and passed him to move into the lead. Mueller won it going away. with Williams second, Scott third and Schweitzer fourth. Twins action saw Steve Hall shoot into the lead on the Lou Kinish Triumph and never look back. While Hall was cruising out front, there was plenty of action behind him. "Rocket Ray" Carroll and Gary Beach made contact in tum two. The "Killer B's" (Brad and Scott Baker, J.D. Beach and Brady Mueller) were out in force, and between them they scored fove main-event wins. The 250cc Four-Stroke main kicked off the action, with J.D. "Jiggy Dawg" Beach getting the holeshot and just barely holding off Brad Baker at the finish. Next up was the 250cc DTX main, and Brad grabbed the lead, only to have Beach two ran side by side, with Brad taking the win by no more than half a wheel's length! Kenan Duncan was a distant third. The 250cc Modified main seemed like an instant replay, with Brad and Beach glued to each other all the way around the track. The second and Mueller third. The 1998 AMA 600cc Supersport champion, who turned 40 in June, clinched his fourth Hindle Exhaust Pro 600cc Sportbike title with a round to spare by winning both features of the doubleheader weekend on his Diablo Performance Honda CBR600RR. The victories gave him five wins in seven races this year. Crevier also picked his 23rd career National Superbike win as he claimed Sunday's Parts Canada Superbike feature aboard the and passed Carroll going into tum three. Hall won with room to spare over Beach and Carroll. B-Rock Dunseath was a strong fourth. AU eyes were on the 505ec Pro main to see how the visitors from California would fare against the Northwest regulars. Scooter Vernon answered that question by leading from wire to wire. Californian Mike Rush rode well in his first visit to Castle Rock but lost ground to Vernon as the race wore on. Ryan Anderson got close to Rush at the end but had to settle for third. Another Californian, Marty Welsler, claimed fourth, over Christian Vernon in fifth. The 65cc Modified main saw Noah "Cream Soda" Miller squirt into the lead, but he was soon passed by both Taylor Masset and Wyatt "Earp" Anderson. Masset held the lead until Anderson passed him with one lap to go to win. Masset was second and Miller third. CN CASTU! ROCK RAe. PARK CASTU! ROCK, WASHINGTON R!SULT5: AUGUST 5, 2005 50 OPEN: I.
