So, he had a plan for round seven of the Parts Unlimited Off-Road Motorcycle and ATV National Series at Spring Creek MX Park: "I wanted to get away early," he said. "I knew [the course] was tight, and I knew if I could get a little bit of time on them, they wouldn't be able to see me, and I could keep a gap on them. And that's what happened. It was awesome." Indeed, the Andrews Cycles/Kenda/Moose-sponsored RM250 racer went wire to wire, leading from the first turn to the final turn, completing eight laps of a challenging, varied course in 2 hours, 33 minutes and B seconds under nearly perfect conditions. Series rival Justin Williamson, who went into the Spring Creek round just two points behind leader Jarrett in the series standings, ended up second on a bike that he was forced to borrow when both his race bikes failed just before the start. By finishing ahead of Williamson, Jarrett managed to stretch out his lead in the standings to seven points. KTM-mounted Shane Watts put in another steady and speedy performance to round out the podium finishers. He finished just one second behind Williamson. Jarrett got the holeshot, with Watts, Cole Calkins, Kyle Nelson, Brian Garrahan and Chris Bach slotting themselves right behind as they hit the MX track section. A
