Hamblen the 125cc Intermediate, 250cc Intermediate and Schoolboy-class overall wins with a sixmoto sweep, things didn't go as well for the top two riders In the Pro classes, Washingtonians Ryan Abrigo and T""Y johnson. Abrigo won the and Pete Sannan, and Johnson and Abrigo. Wilson's 8-2 placings earned him third overall, ahead of johnson (2-9) and Abrigo (1-10). Boughten won the 2S0cc Pro class with opening 12Scc Pro O1Oto, but a nasty tumble while leading the font Open Pro o1oto left him bruised and his Honda CR250F's exhaust badly mangled. While Abrigo did get the Honda in running order for mOlO two, the rider from Snohomish was in extreme pain and couldn't muster better than a 10th-place finish in the muddy conditions of O1Oto two. Tony Boughten, who finished third to Abrigo and johnson in the dry conditions of moto one, pushed johnson for several laps in moto two before taking the lead from the Honda rider. johnson fell in the mud-filled whoops and took a considerable amount of time to get rolling again and finished ninth in " " _"Y, takire advantage of misfortUle on the part of moto winners Johnson and Abrigo. Boughten's 2-'1 finishes earned him his second win of the day, followed by Metzler (4-3), Nick Foister (6-2), Miles Warren (5-5) and Cnuer (7-7). Lamay adapted well in the adverse conditions, posting his first win in the opening moto of the Schoolboy class. Lamay easily won both O1Ot05, placing lots of distance on the rest of the field, despite the downpour that occurred at halftime. Washington's Wren Fuller was also a stellar performer in the muddy conditions. Fuller, who competed in the 125cc and 250cc junior classes, finished well ahead of the rest of the CMe Pac West Motocross Nationals Round 6; Washougal Motocross Park \ A Jashingtonians Ryan Abrigo and Dan Moore V Y continued their winning ways at round six of the CMC Pac West Nationals, held at Washou- gal Motocross Park. Heavy rain the day prior to the event and showers the night before race day yielded to sunny skies and made for superb track conditions shortly into the first set of motos. Boch Abrigo and Moore found the tacky conditions to their liking: Abrigo won the 125cc, 250cc and Open Pro classes, while Moore won the Over 2S and Over 30 Pro classes. Abrigo was injured the previous day but rebounded well [0 score moto wins in all six motos he contested. He shook off the effects of that over-the-bars excursion to lead Tracy Johnson in the 125c( and 250c( classes, and Spokane's Nick McConahy in the Open Pro class. While Abrigo didn't quite get the starts he'd hoped for all day long, the motos did end the way the 21-year-old rider from Snohomish had wanted. resulting in his domination and his bagging nearly $1000 from the Pro purse. Veteran rider Moore had things going his way in his Over 25 and Over 30 Pro classes. Moore also placed third in the 125cc Pro class, behind Abrigo and Johnson, making it an impressrve day for the eastern Washington rider who has spent much of his career aboard 54 Moore placed second overall. Moore won both Over 30 Pro mOIOS. CN despite a hyper-<>xtencled elbow. ROULTs: JUNI 18,2005 (R_ 5) PIW (0"): I. Jack Fowle< (Cob); 2.
