Worth would later get revenge by winning the Pee Wee SOcc Modified (0-6)
division title with a perfect I-I score.
White finished second overall with a second and a third, and Bradley Esper went
4-2 for third.
Albertson absolutely romped in the
Intermediate classes, winning 14 of the 20
motos he raced en route to his four titles;
however, Oklahoma's Trey Canard gave
the Missouri native all he could in the
2S0cc Four-Stroke race. Canard dogged
Albertson for the entire distance of the
final and was less than a length behind
when Albertson took the checkers.
Canard would later

Joey Dunlop of Dallas. Texas, and Zach
Cummans of Westlake Village, California.
came into the Pee Wee Stock (7-8) class
runoff with a first- and second-place finish
apiece after the qualifying motos, and
ifl--the lleaQ..to-head
final would determine the overall champion. However, the outcome was somewhat determined when Cummans suffered a poor start and was near the rear
when the pack rounded the first turn. In
the meantime, Dunlop had grabbed the
holeshot and was stretching a big lead.
while Cummans amazingly worked his
way up to second at the finish. Dunlop
ended up with the title, while Cummans,
riding a Cobra. grabbed the runner-up
position. Jake Riggle, Pierce Low and
Kinser Endicott rounded out the top five
in the overall standings.
Levi Hall put his KTM on top of the
box in the Junior Cycle Modified (9-1 I)
class after moving up from third place on
the first lap of the runoff, passing Justin
Summers of Florida for the win. The class
was one of the few that had to be narrowed down from three divisions.
The Ponca City event, one of the
longest-running
Amateur
National
Championship series in the country. celebrated its 30th anniversary with perfect
conditions and some of the best racing
ever at the facility. Over 2300 entries
graced the starting grids for the five-day
event. which featured perhaps the best
weather ever for it, as mild. 80-degree
temperatures dominated the early part of
the week. This was especially welcomed
after last year's deluge, which forced an
extra day of racing, and the 100-degree
temperatures that blistered the area the
year before.
