The Viewtech I mirrors have a small rectangular head for a minimalistic and custom look, while also providing exceptional rear visibility due to the use of exclusive, custom-made convex mirror glass. This allows for increased visibility while still remaining small. The mirrors are available in both show-chrome and black finishes. MB 1 SUSPENSION.COM Easy Adjustment This new tool from MB I Suspension allows the rider to adjust the compression on the fork without the need of a mechanic or screwdriver - and all during practice. Made from lightweight aluminum, these adjusters weigh nearly nothing and will still stand up to whatever is thrown at them. The compression adjusters are not only easy to use but are also easy to install. All it takes is the tightening of four screws and they are mounted. SUMMERS RACING COMPONENTS FOG ELIMINATOR $5.95 ITHREE-PAOK) $4.95 ISPORTS PAOK) $4.95 (CLARITY LENS CLEANER) 800/221 -9752 SRCINC.NET Fogless This new product from Summers Racing Components helps to eliminate fogged up goggles. The Clarity Fog Eliminator is a breakthrough dry anti-fog formulation for helmet face shields, goggles, sunglasses, eyeglasses and optics. Fog Eliminator's dry cloth depOSits an invisible protective layer that actually absorbs microdroplets of moisture and spreads them across the coating so that instantly they evaporate before fog can form. One application lasts all day or ionger. Hot days require cool gear, and Shift Racing has an affordable way of beating the heat with its new fully vented Air Strike gear. We recently tried out a set and were, to say the least, very impressed. As far as venting, the Air Strike pants, jersey and gloves work as well as any other vented gear that we've worn in the past. After all, holes are holes, but what really impressed us the most was the price. The pants sell for just $99 and have many nice features found with the top-of-the-Iine pants, such as articulated waist and knees for a good fit in the riding position, wellplaced stretch panels for good mobility and split-grain leather inner knee panels. It's not very often you get leather parts in "budget"-priced pants. The lightweight jersey is made out of IDO-percent poly/mesh and features a ribbed V-neck collar and ribbed sleeve cuffs, and 48 AUGUST 3,2005 • CYCLE NEWS the gloves are light, comfortable and well-vented. The Air Strike jersey sells for $29.95, the gloves for $17.95. We've worn the Air Strike gear three or four times already, and it still looks like it just came out of the bag. It washes up nicely and shows absolutely no signs of wear or damage yet. As far as fit, the lower leg cuffs are a little on the tight side for our taste, but everything else fits as it should. And to top things off, the Air Strike gear just plain looks good. It has clean styling, and the material looks top-of-the-line. By no means does it look like budget gear. The Air Strike gear comes in all the usual sizes and in three colors: red, blue and black. For more information, go to www.shiftracing.com. Kit Palmer
