-&The 1O<250F has a five-speed transmission, which is
claimed to be stronger, as is the clutch.
Kawasaki has yet to release any weight number for
either bike.
As far as the '06 KX250R - the two-stroker - it
received just minor changes, but it did get the new
Kayaba A05 forks and aluminum handlebars. It also got a
new piston, a longer and wider silencer, a new waterpump impeller, more adjustability to the shock, and new
petal-style disc brakes (as did the four-strokes).
In a somewhat surprising move, Kawasaki dropped the
10< 125 two-stroke from its arsenal. The bike, however,
will still be available in certain non-U.S. markets.
Don't hold your breath for the new four-strokes, as
they're not expected to be released until at least late
summer or early fall. The 10<250 two-stroke, however,

should be released much sooner.
