On Thursday, June 23, preceding the
Misano round of the World Superbike
Championship, members of the media
challenged some of top Superbike and
Supersport riders to friendly game of
beach volleyball.
Playing at "Bagno Romina," one of
Pier-Francesco Chili's favorite beaches, two teams of journalists challenged a team comprised of the
Superbike riders and another made
up of Supersport and Superstock
600 riders.
Manuela Leggeri, captain of the Italian
National Volleyball Team, was a special
guest of the event and awarded Breil
watches and trophies to the winning
team, the Supersport and Superstock
600 riders. Corona beer was flowing as
six Corona models got the large crowd
of spectators in party mode.
