lap, luck turned Martin's way, as Matt Maier went down, allowing Martin to move up to third. Martin was able to get a second-place finish in moto one, with Modjewski taking the win. It appeared as if Martin just might have something for Modjewski in the next moto. In moto two, Martin was able to keep it on two wheels the entire time. Modjewski was on the gas and chasing after Martin, determined to get the win. Modjewski dosed in, and at one point it appeared a pass was inevitable. Martin felt otherwise and continued to race his own race. Modjewski applied pressure for several laps, but Martin never slipped. In the end, Martin took the moto·two win, and the 250cc A overall. Martin and Modjewski met again in the 125cc A contest. Neither got the holes hot in moto one, but they were soon running one and two, with Modjewski leading the way. Neither made a mistake the entire mota, and they were never separated by more than a few bikelengths. Martin had to settle for second, as Modjewski held on for the win. Martin jumped out front in mota two, followed by Kody Molitor and Maier. Modjewski was bringing up the rear but charging hard, moving into fourth place, but by then Martin had checked out, looking fast and smooth. The mota win went to Martin, with Molitor and Maier holding on to second and third for the moto and the overall, respectively. On a day where the temperatures were in the high 90s, with humidity to match, it was quite a feat for Martin to race two classes, much less take two overall victories. Martin and Modjewski are tied for the Nuke Championship lead with 56 points each. Molitor is second with 50. Molitor leads the I25cc A class with 64 points; Martin, Modjewski and Derek Whitney are tied for second with 53 points each. With the series only at the halfway point, and no lead out of reach, it should be a good battle. RESULTS SO Oll·INJ: I. Jackson Jeffery (KTM); 2. Chad Boss (KTM); 3. Justin Mack (KTM); 4.
