Eslick MY OWN RACE 19 Paul Lynch 8th "I made some decem passes and got a decent start there and got up to eighth," Lynch said. "We were faster than eighth, but it is kind of tough f'Om the thi,d row. I got hooked up with [Willie] McCoy not too far into it. He was just a little bit ahead of me, making passes. Then he got by J.R. [Schnabel]. That put a little bit of a gap between us. By the time I got by J. R., the,e was 10 to go. We kind of stayed even then. I couldn't run him down I thlflk he was running down Russell and a couple other guys." 33 J.R. Schnabel 9th "Two weeks In a row, we got in the top 10," Schnabel said. "Last week I was passing guys, moving forward. This week I got off the hne pretty good. The first lap, I made a good move down low and slid past a couple guys. I think I was up to around sixth, then worked my way backwards. The bike has been working so good. I can't say enough about the team. I just struggled a little tonight. On these g'Ooved half miles, no,mally I feel good, especially when they have moisture in them. I was just having trouble getting turned. We were hooked up so good in the rear. All night we were battling to get hooked up in the rear. I think everybody was. We were loose in the rear, so we made a bunch of changes. We got hooked up in the rear, 28 JULY 13, 2005 • CYCLE NEWS w;n); S. Joe Kopp (83); 6. Shaun Russell (70); 7_ J_R. Schnabel (67/1 w;n); 8_ B
