Supercross Back to Canada 30 YEARS AGO... May i!0. 1975 Jim Pomeroy won the 250cc Grand Prix in Retinne, Belgium. Pomeroy won the first moto and finished fourth in the second. Hakan Andersson took the second moto fairly easily... Carl Cranke was victorious at the Bad Rock ISDT Qualifier in Weston, Oregon. He took top honors in his class, as well as the overall ahead of 160 com· petitors... Camel Cigarettes put up a total of $24,000 in purse money for the 500cc World Motocross Championships. There would be $2000 for each moto and $4000 to the series champion...
