watch out for lappers en route to a relatively easy win. The only suspense came in
the final moments when Millsaps pulled to
within three seconds of Langston, but it
was too little, too late for the Suzuki rider.
Hansen, who once led the 12Scc East
Region standings, managed only a fourth,
behind Matt Walker, with Boniface moving
into a tie with Yamaha/Boost/Mobile/Troy
Racing's Kelly Smith for fourth in the overall standings by virtue of a fifth-place finish
in the main. Adams ended a good night of
racing in sixth.
With the final event scheduled for
Pontiac, Michigan, in just one week,
Langston now holds a seven-point lead
over Hansen and 10 over Millsaps.
"Last year was probably the worst year
of my career," Langston said. "To be back
here and winning races is obviously a great
feeling, and I am very thankful for that,
because you don't really realize how much
you miss the sport and how much it sucks
to be injured until you are sitting at home,
watching TV It can be frustrating and at the
same time it can light the fire under you
again, and I think that is what has helped
me this year."
